Calculate your Grade Point Average quickly by selecting grade and course credits, perfect for high school and college students.
Each course grade becomes grade points (A=4, B=3, …), multiplied by credits, summed and divided by total credits. Weighted by credits, not a flat average of grades.
Scholarships, honors and grad-school cuts usually use cumulative GPA, so a 1-credit class and a 4-credit class do not count equally. The calculator weights them right.
Averaging percentages instead of points. A 90% is not always a 4.0 depending on the school's scale; enter the points your institution uses.
What if my school uses a 4.3 or 5.0 scale? Adjust the point values to your catalog; the math is the same.
Does it include pass/fail? Usually not — those carry no points, so exclude them from the credit total.
